How much stone do I need to build my Armour Stone wall?

• Take the Length (feet) x Height (feet) of the wall you are building x 2.5, divided by 12. This will give you an estimated tonnage.

How much stone do I need to build my 9 to 14 inch Guillotine wall?

• Take the Length (feet) x Height (feet) of the wall you are building x 1.16, divided by 12. This will give you an estimated tonnage.

How much stone do I need to build my 15 to 20 inch Guillotine wall?

• Take the Length (feet) x Height (feet) of the wall you are building x 1.6 divided by 12. This will give you an estimated tonnage.

Has your stone been tested?

• Yes, all of our stone has been independently tested and passes MTO specs for freeze thaw cycle. These lab reports are available by contacting Rob Darling at Stonescape Quarry, 705-927-7111.

Can we visit the Quarry?

• You are welcome to visit our display area at the front of the Quarry. To visit the back where the stone is excavated please make an appointment and you must wear all appropriate safety gear.

Is the stone real?

• Yes. All of our stone is 100% natural and is quarried at our location in Buckhorn, Ontario.

Do you have a seconds pile we can pick from?

• No. You need to place an order for stone.

How much does the stone weigh?

• Our dolomite limestone averages 170 Lbs per cubic foot.

What is the lead time for material?

• Lead time may vary depending on raw material, volume of order and time of year. Please order early and give us as much notice as you can.
